We are looking for a Junior IT Operation Specialist to join our IT team in our Budapest headquarters and support our local and international colleagues.

About the Role:

Our Finance team thrives on adaptability and collaboration. We are committed to maintaining high standards while supporting STX’s ambitious global expansion. You’ll join a group that values clear communication, ownership, and ongoing development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Invoice and Expense Administration – Process incoming invoices and employee expenses in accordance with financial procedures, including proper coding, VAT treatment, and approval routing using ISPnext and Rydoo.
  • Bank and Payment Transactions – Manage daily bank statement imports, perform automated and manual transaction reconciliations, and prepare non-trade payment batches in Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Reconciliation and Reporting – Support daily, monthly, and year-end closing activities through reconciliations between General Ledger, Subledgers, and bank accounts.
  • Financial Controls and Compliance – Ensure adherence to accounting policies and assist with audits and ad-hoc reporting requests.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent certification
  • Understanding of accounting principles and reconciliation processes
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with repetitive data accurately
  • Proactive, reliable, and capable of working autonomously
  • Working knowledge of Excel; familiarity with ERP or expense systems is a plus
  • Fluent English; Hungarian fluency preferred
