HFC Regulation

According to the existing European legislation, incumbent quotas or quota authorisations/delegations are required for producers and importers placing hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) in bulk or in pre-charged equipment on the European market.

Moreover, companies dealing with HFCs are required to report annually on their production, imports (including pre-charged gases in equipment), and exports of bulk gases before 31 March, for the previous calendar year.
